Website www.oldirish.com Jaguar and racing enthusiast. My Mk2 is one of the 100 odd LHD 3.4 litre cars imported at the end of the production run and to fill a void between the 420 and 3.8S. History and information on these cars is on my website.

Just wondering if this car came with Ambla interior and a 340 boot badge instead of a MK2 boot badge. My P180929 was sold in California and has a 340 badge with a MK2 VIN. Also wondering why "All Syncro" is listed in the gearbox field if the VIN has a BW postfix.

    Phil,
Yes the car was originally badged as a 340 and it has ambla interior. I converted the car from automatic to a 4-speed with overdrive. The registration spavce does not have room for modifications.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
