This car was originally cream (OEW?), but was painted black by the PO. It is one of a group of MK2s that were reportidly sold by a California dealer re-badged or factory badged as 340s and probably had Ambla interior as new; it was redone in black vinyl when I bought it. No rust, steel wheels, synchro 4 speed, and matching numbers. The current steering box is manual and certainly a replacement. The 3.4 engine had about everything bad done to it that can be done and still run, but it is now professionally rebuilt to the tune of 8 grand and ready to go back in after I repair acid holes behind the battery shelf and swap the front suspension for a 420 front unit with PS and wire spindles.
