Ebay item 10/14/08 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-3-4-Mark1-Sedan-1959-JAGUAR-3-4-Mark1_W0QQitemZ18 ...
Current bid $1,250, 1 bid 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
It is a 1959 Jaguar 3.4 Mark1 automatic. It was kept in a sea container for about 32 years and has been outside for the last year. The odometer reads 49070 but I can't guarantee correctness. It looks to have had a white exterior with dark blue interior when new. It is very solid and runs. Will need work to be driveable. Like I said I know very little about Jaguars.
I don't want to mislead anyone. When I say the car is very solid, I mean that it is not a rust bucket; however, it does have some rust. This car needs work and should be considered a project.
Items I noticed when looking at the car:
* Seat covers look newer (may be replacements)
* Door panels look newer also (possibly reconditioned)
* Front and rear window trim is present
* Upper dash has sun and moisture damage
* Steering wheel is cracked
* Gas tank should be restored
* Original carpet was removed (but still with the car)
* Paint is in poor condition
