Ebay item 11/27/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1958-Jaguar-Mk1-3-4-Sedan-Nice-Older-Restoration-Same-ow ...
Car has a buy it now price of $24,900 for 19 days.

Sellers description:
1958 Jaguar 3.4 Mark 1 Saloon. Pearl Grey exterior with a red leather interior. Purchased new in Paris 1958, Known history from new with only one owner for 52 years! 4 speed with overdrive , disc brakes, disc wheels.Original owner Spent $80,000 at a very well respected (Bart Holland) shop on exterior body and mechanical restoration with photos and receipts to prove the work that was done. The car only has 3000 kilometers since the restoration work .This work was done in the 1980's but the car was lovingly cared for since that time and it is still in extremely nice condition. It is very rare to find a Mk1 that someone put this amount of work and money into. Car only has 56000 kilometers which is about 35000 miles.

I consider these to be one of the most beautiful 4 door cars ever made, it is very rare to find one that has had this amount of money spent on it. The Interior is very nice original with newer carpets. Extremely nice driving example that feels very tight and fresh when you drive it. Upgrades include Stainless steel exhaust and automatic auxiliary cooling fan.

Car shows very nicely with slight pitting in the bumpers, one of the clips that holds down the windshield trim is missing.

You couldn't get one for free and make it like this car is for the price we are asking. Car comes with a transferable registration which acts as a title since new, State does not issue titles on vehicles older than 1972.

Car is located in upstate about 2 hours north of New York City.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
