Sellers description:
1958 Jaguar Mark I Saloon. Car was restored about 15 years ago and had been driven to car shows in the Midwest where it received many trophies. 3 years ago the owner, my dad, disconnected most of the wiring harness while troubleshooting an annoying problem of having no back up lights. He suffered a stroke and the car has sat essentially that way since that time. The vehicle does not run, but I did reconnect the starter and have turned it over a number of times to keep a healthy coating of oil inside the engine. Vehicle has been garage kept.

The seats have been removed, but are included and are in great shape. Headliner and carpeting are in good shape too. The body and paint are in great shape and rust free. Engine and mechanicals are OK too, except for the wiring harness. Extra parts, including windshield, come with the vehicle.

This Jag could be put back together with a little effort and be a great show vehicle.

Very nice 1958 jaguar up for sale . Six cylinder , three speed manual transmission, with overdrive . This car was restored about 10 years ago original leather seats, new carpet, the tires are British as original ! It has the complete tool kit in the trunk, helmet head battery connectors. Beware this car really turns heads, and every where you go it attracts people ! It runs very well has a lot of power no oil burning , but does leak oil (British) they all leak oil sooner or later .. I am getting rid of all my jaguar cars and parts so I can start with a new project . The pictures dont do the car justice but Im not a photographer !
This car shows real well !! But its not perfect there are rock chips , the overdrive works sometimes dont know if its the solenoid or ?
