This British Racing Green 1958 car is an original RHD model, factory-fitted with the 3.4L engine and De Normanville overdrive. It has one of the final three treasured cars from a serious and reportedly very picky lifelong Jaguar collector who owned over 100 of the finest examples we are told.

It has been sparingly used in recent years, with very few miles since the last advisory-free MOT in 2019. In 2014 and again in 2019, over £6,000 was invested in the car’s mechanicals, including brake and carburettor overhaul, servicing, water pump, new engine mounts and fuel system repairs. The car received a new fuel pump, fuel pipe, coil, leads, distributor cap, condenser and points in 2024. More recently, the vendor also says he spent £3,000 to ready the car for sale, covering brake, carburettor and ignition systems. After all this recent and previous work the vendor naturally describes the car as mechanically sound and well looked after.
