1965 Jaguar MK X

VIN 1D76217

Mileage 72574

The 1965 Jaguar MK X is a luxurious sedan with a classic green interior and exterior color. This collector car has a refined automatic transmission and a powerful 4.2 engine, making it a desirable choice for Jaguar enthusiasts. With seating for four and a left-hand drive, this vintage Jaguar offers a smooth and stylish ride for those looking to experience the elegance of a bygone era.

This MKX was purportedly originally owned by the Japanese Ambassador to the US, hence the Fairfax tags.

The engine runs (see video) and does not knock or smoke. The triple carburetors will need new jets to run smoothly as the car has been sitting a long time.

This car is very solid, all the doors close soundly, all the windows roll up and down easily, all the glass is very good and the chrome is very nice.

It has a period wooden Nardi steering wheel in excellent condition.

The front and rear air conditioners are completely intact.

The drivers side floor needs rust repair but the sills and rockers are solid. The rest of the body would be easily restored.

This car is completely intact, the wiring unmolested and would make a great start as a restoration project or it would make a heck of a restomod. Alternatively, though we would hate to see her parted out, there are a multitude of valuable parts on this car that can be used on a range of Jaguars from the same period. The engine is in the serial number range to be easily used appropriately in an E-type and the triple carburetors have value as well.

This car will have to be towed.

There is NO TITLE with this car. It will be sold with a State of Georgia Bill of Sale.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
