Showing 40,635 miles; 3.4-litre XK straight-six engine; manual gearbox and overdrive; factory-style fabric sunroof; driven 30 miles to the sale
First registered on 22nd February 1967 and supplied new by Henlys of London, this elegant Jaguar 3.4/340 is finished in cream with a beautifully complementary tan interior and matching factory-style sunroof. Equipped with the desirable manual gearbox and overdrive, this handsome sporting saloon offers a engaging drive while retaining the refinement and character synonymous with the Jaguar marque.
Presenting well in its classic cream livery, this example benefits from obvious care and attention over the years. The attractive colour combination suits the car's elegant lines, while the extensive accompanying records help document its history and stewardship.
The odometer currently displays 40,635 miles; however, prospective purchasers should note that the speedometer head was replaced in 2023. Supporting records show the previous unit recorded 8,859 miles in 2018, 8,869 miles in 2021 and 8,900 miles in 2022. The replacement speedometer displayed 40,326 miles when fitted, with accompanying paperwork included within the history file to substantiate the change and recorded readings.
The history file includes the current V5C showing five former keepers, a green continuation log book, Jaguar Heritage Certificate, MOT valid until July 2027, invoices and the original tool kit. A charming and increasingly desirable example of Jaguar's iconic sporting saloon, offered with comprehensive supporting documentation and the highly desirable manual-overdrive drivetrain.
