Current bid $10,000 reserve not met, 1 bid 6 days left in auction. 58k miles.

Sellers description:
This particular Mk I has been the recipient of a cost-no-object restoration at Hybernia Restorations. With well over $200,000 in receipts, this Mark 1 is undoubtedly one of (if not THE) best examples extant. Not a detail was overlooked in the restoration of this car which has brought it to a standard that is best-in-show caliber at any Jaguar or national concours event! It is concours detailed throughout including the engine bay, underside, interior (which appears to have never even been set in) and exterior.

The restoration was also documented with photographs from the outset showing a very good solid candidate receive the utmost care and treatments as it underwent a more than four year process to bring it to the standards it now enjoys. The restoration included a balancing and blue printing of the original engine and a complete rebuild of virtually all other mechanical components as well.

The car has been in sealed and climate controlled storage for the last several years as current ownerships health sadly failed. It is now being sold for the estate of that fastidious owner and will without question be the pride of the new owners collection. It is currently show detailed and ready for new ownership.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
