This car is currently in our workshop being upgraded with front disc brakes, wire wheels, and a handling package.

Jaguar Mark I 3.4litre in manual with overdrive is a particular favourite of ours. This particular car is virtually concours and in fine working order. A really exclusive and discerning car to own and drive.

Freshly imported from the dry state of Natal in South Africa and the subject of a detailed bare shell rotisserie restoration to a very high standard. The door shut is outstanding and the panel fit is a credit to the restorer. The engine block is not the original but the cylinder head is. The original block is supplied with the car. The restoration is documented and was completed less than 200 miles ago.

The engine holds excellent oil pressure and is a superb free revving unit. The gearbox too is smooth and slick with a perfectly working overdrive. On the road the car drives very well. The trim is superb with sumptuous red leather and acres of wood.

This car is a really engaging car to drive and a wonderfully nostalgic and fun place to sit.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
