    Sellers description:
My next project that I am just not going to find time for so here we go! This a very rare chance to buy a Jaguar MK2 with virtually NO RUST, so if your going to restore one this is the best starting point your ever going to find!!! This great Jaguar MK2 would make a superb Historic race/rally car also, she is a true blank canvas! So make sensible bids and she may well be coming home to your garage. Thank you Mark

    Here's the highlights;
Currently fitted with a XKE 3.8 engine, that needs final connecting up to be a runner! (Original matching numbers 3.8 engine is included with sale that needs a rebuild, which I will remove the front seat and carefully load into the car, if you want the motor)
Very nice red line tires with good Chrome wire wheels
    Excellent untouched sheet metal
100% complete ( other than radio consul)
The car shows 69,521 miles which I guess is true
Lovely smell of old leather and wood has you open the door
The doors shut with the solid Jaguar "Clunk"
    Fair wood trim
    Factory power steering
    New Muffler system (not installed)
    Original southern state car
    Excellent door window chrome
    NO BONDO OR CRASH DAMAGE
Excellent Front cross member and crows feet
    Excellent spring hangers
    Excellent Floors
    Excellent Trunk floor
    Excellent Rockers (sills)
    Excellent Jacking points
    Excellent doors
    Excellent fenders
    No door sag
    Painted only once years ago
    Fair original "survivor" Interior
    Good chrome
Overall a survivor, that's a very easy restoration project and she rolls easy for loading!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
