Sellers description:
This car needs to be taken to the next level of restoration to be an excellent example of the Marque 2 Saloon Style Jaguar. This car should be worth well over 40 K if restored right.
All body work has been done in steel, no body filler or plastic. This is a steel car with no rust. New paint as well. The motor is in excellent condition and runs great, the automatic transmission has been rebuilt and Carbs rebuilt and tuned. New Stainless steel exhaust system front to back. All running gear is new, wheel bearings, 4 wheel disk brakes, seals and lines are new. Wheels in great condition. Original Leather Seats cleaned, conditioned and in good shape. New carpet, all wood has been removed and redone. New windscreen glass. Refinished wood throughout.
Original 53,700 mile car. I am the third owner of this car and have a number of books manuals and memorabilia that goes with the car purchase
Clear correct title also. The mileage is correct but after installing the gauge panel the speedometer quit working. I may have this fixed before sale. All work was professionally done to this car by a local English car shop. I have too many projects right now and have no more time or funds for this great car. It drives fine and would make a good addition to someone’s collection.
