Since ownership have replaced carpeting, redone all leather and wood interior trim, added Pertronix ignition and coil, driving lights, radio, speakers, center rear brake, heater core, heater fan, and corrected many shortcomings. This car is as new mechanically from the radiator through the differential, to include brakes, fuel pump and tank, shocks, etc. Brake cylinders stainless steel sleeved, and the clutch slave recently brass sleeved by Apple Hydraulics.

This car originally titled in Gary, Ind., and previously owned by David Grender-Jones, now deceased, of Chicago. He had major mechanical restoration done at Classic Jaguar, Austin, probably late '90s or early this century. Sold to current owner on eBay in October, 2005. Car fitted with wire wheel, Avon tires, and JT5 gear box. Recently added Pertronix electronic ignition and extensive work throughout car, including wood refinishing, carpet kit, and leather replacement and restoration. Fewer than 60,000 miles. Runs like stink.

This car purchased off eBay out of Chicago in 2005. Seller said, and current owner believes, this car had a $40,000 mechanical rebuild at Classic Jaguar, Austin, Tex., a few years before that sale. Car has undergone extensive restoration since purchase, including electronic ignition, third brake light, radio and speakers, leather upgrades, carpet and underfelt replacement, wood refinish, etc. Has 72-spoke Chrome wires, JT5 gear box, etc. Available.
