This very desirable 1964 Mark II Jaguar is very well preserved. The exterior color is an Antique White (matching Wire Wheels) with a complimentary Tan Connolly Leather interior, which is in great condition including headliner. The car is driven regularly as well as always kept in a garage. Note: It has even been exhibited in several car shows in the North East.
There are some minor fleabites and scrapes in the paint and on the bright work. However, the body is in excellent condition and straight. Only one rust spot on top left front fender (refer to images). The chrome though original still looks great but showing some age.
When I say that this is a well-maintained and preserved Mark II Jaguar, I also am referring to all the mechanics of the car. The bonuses are that the re-circulating ball steering has been updated to that of a newer Jaguar Rack & Pinion system, the ignition has been updated to an electronic ignition system, two freer flowing air cleaners have been installed (have original air cleaners), the head was recently rebuilt as was the four-wheel disc braking system (will supply contact name and number of well known Jaguar Shop upon request). In addition to the above this Mark II comes with an Overdrive transmission (the icing on the cake), a pair of High Quality Fogranger Driving Lights by Lucas, and a New Clutch, Pressure Plate & Throw-Out Bearing. And finally, the car has a 3.4L Mark II Jaguar engine, not a 3.8L engine.
A solid car for any enthusiast!
