Current bid $5,100 reserve not met, 2 bids, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
We are liquidating the vehicle collection of the late Dr. Francis Kessler of Columbus, Ohio. This Jaguar was purchased by Dr. Kessler in 1964 and has been meticulously cared for since. It has the original leather, very nice woodwork, and new Michelin tires. It was never wrecked, but I would guess it has been repainted at some time because the paint is so nice. It has the original books and some of the maintenance records, everything works, it starts and drives well. You could drive it home. This nearly one owner car in near original condition is a rare find!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
