Jaguar Saloons are still extremely popular and this particular example is a 420, which dates from 1968. It therefore comes with the 4235cc six-cylinder engine and the automatic three-speed transmission, which makes the car very usable indeed in modern traffic conditions.
It has had extensive restoration carried out on it quite recently and being finished in white has been used as a wedding vehicle on various occasions. A re-trim has taken place in cloth, which indeed would be the choice of anybody driving long distances, and it comes with a very clean engine bay and a new exhaust.
This delightful example has a current MOT certificate and of course is exempt vehicle excise duty and therefore should be able to drive the new owner home after the sale today.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
