Introduced to replace the 'S' type with a new nose in 1966, the 420 saloons came with limited slip differentials and dual circuit brakes. They have always been the poor relation to the Mk2 saloons but are in fact extremely good cars to own and drive.
The example we have on offer for you today dates from 1967 and was bought from the deceased estate of a Dr. H. Bevan-Jones some years ago and subsequently restored. It was indeed restored in the full glare of publicity as it was restored during the programme 'Granada Reports' and it is now in extremely good condition throughout.
It currently has an MOT test until July 2003 and the automatic three-speed transmission and the mileage is believed to be genuine at 70,000 miles from new. It has a lovely history file and this is a very good example of what is now a rare car on today's roads.
Please note: This vehicle does not have an MOT as described in the catalogue."

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
