This late entered 1967 Jaguar 420 was built at their Browns Lane works in Coventry and is a manual gearbox car with overdrive and power steering. According to the vendor, although a new sill is required, which would be easily rectified, and the metallic gold paintwork is poor, the chassis is very good order. The classic 4.2-litre 6-cylinder engine was rebuilt only 1000 mile ago and the manual transmission is reportedly in good order. The 72,939 miles displayed when entered for this sale is believed to be the genuine total mileage from new.
