Original family ownership since February 1966.

This S Type was purchased by my late mother, Adrienne B Quilter in February 1966 from an individual in El Cerito California. Per the Heritage Certificate it was first sold to a Mr C H McFarlan who lived in Berkeley, California. The car passed to my father, Rear Admiral Joseph F Quilter, upon my mother's death in February 1974. My father used the car from then until his death in June 2000 at which time it passed to me, his son. I was instrumental in urging the car's purchase and was involved in its upkeep and maintenance from then to now. It has about 185,000 miles on it and is in almost show condition and still much enjoyed.
