This 1967 Jaguar MK II was sold new by Whittlesey Motors of Torrance, California and reportedly remained registered to the family of the original owner until 2018. It is finished in red over black upholstery and powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ wire wheels, four wheel disc brakes, removable rear fender skirts, cruise control, and an aluminum radiator. This MK II is offered by the selling dealer with original sale paperwork, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in red and was repainted in 1984. Features include chrome bumpers with overriders, a 3.8L Jaguar badge on the grille, Leaper hood ornament, removable rear fender skirts, front and rear vent windows, and dual exhausts. The weather seals were replaced in 2018.
Chrome 15″ wire wheels are secured with two-eared knockoffs and are wrapped in 205/70 GT Radial Champiro VP1 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The selling dealer states that work between 2018 and 2020 included replacement of the steering rack, rear axle seals, wheel cylinders, and brake master cylinder, fluid switch, and pads.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black, along with wood trim on the dashboard, tops of the door panels, and pillars. Amenities include an AM radio, a heater, cruise control, and carpeted floor mats with red piping. The Coolaire air conditioning system is said to not blow cold and the radio is non-functional.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset analog clock, and centrally positioned auxiliary gauges displaying water temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage. The clock was rebuilt in 2019. The five-digit odometer shows 74k miles.
The 3.4-liter inline-six features twin SU carburetors and has been fitted with an aluminum radiator. The generator and air conditioning belts were replaced in 2018. The selling dealer notes the presence of an oil leak.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt in 2007.
