Sellers description:
1967 JAGUAR 340 SURVIVOR
Well...there only original once! This Jaguar and a Austin Healey 3000 were just pulled out of a garage here in San Antonio Texas after sitting in it for the past 33 years.
This Jaguar 340 seems to be totally original down to the paint. The car has it's original drive train with we're guessing 128k miles. Could be 28k miles. We're guessing.
The car is in amazing conditioning as you can see. Its a factory 4 speed car with factory Air Conditioning and four wheel disc brakes, which could be quite rare. It's also a factory red car which we didn't see to many on line in that lovely color.
The is NO rust and NO Bondo filler in this car. The body is very very nice. There is only one small dent on the top of the passenger side rear fender were something in the garage fell on it. Its not bad and can be seen in one of the pictures.
Inside the car is also in very nice original conditioning. The only eye sore is the top of the back seats where a few rips are present from the age and sun.
When we got the car, the back glass had been broken, but they had already found a new piece. We put it in place, but the winning bidder will need to get a new rubber seal and reinstall the chrome properly.
The engine oil is clean, I'm going to pull the spark plugs and start soaking the cylinders before we try and turn the motor.
If you're interested in restoring a Mark II 340 Jaguar, I don't think it would be easy to find a better car.
