Opening bid $2,250, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This 1967 420G is originally from Georgia. It was custom ordered in Black over Dark Blue Connolly leather. Normally dark blue was not an option with black paint. It was also custom ordered with lap seat belts. Options include A/C, power windows, and tinted glass.

The second owner purchased it in the late 80's with a "worn out engine." They decided to convert the car to a new 5.7 liter Chevy V8 engine and a new 350 automatic transmission. The transmission fluid is the pinkest I've seen. Also at the time, new front brake calipers and hoses were installed. The owner drove the car for 100 miles in 1988 and then began to restore the interior. The work stopped and the car stayed in their Georgia garage until I purchased it.

I have gathered the parts and worked on the car to make it a safe weekend driver. I installed a rust-free gas tank and a new starter solenoid. The engine runs smoothly but will need a fuel pump. The exhaust system is quiet.

The body has minor rust in the front of the front floor boards.

Overall, the car is very solid. The trunk has no rust through. The doors open and close fine.

The original engine and transmission are still in the garage in Georgia and are available to the new owner free of charge. The numbers match and the engine has the optional 9:1 compression ratio.

All of the wood, the sun visors, and the interior mirror are with the car.

The title is missing, so a bill of sale will be issued to the new owner. This will allow you to legally obtain a title in your state.

This is an awesome classic with a "go-anywhere" engine.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
