Additional auction info:
Finished in blue and trimmed in grey leather, the car is said to be of excellent appearance all round and sits on new stainless steel wire wheels. The engine is reported to have been recently overhauled with the cylinder head converted for use with unleaded fuel, and the clutch has been replaced. The original Moss gearbox remains and is fitted with overdrive, while the car has factory-fitted power steering. Worthwhile modifications to enhance motoring in today’s traffic conditions include Coopercraft brakes, alternator and electronic ignition. A Coombes-style louvered bonnet and competition-type mirrors give the car a purposeful period look, and during the last year the vendor is understood to have spent some £6,000 on the motor car. Extensive documentation is provided including a current MOT certificate valid until February 2005, plus a V5 document. Estimate: £13,500 - £14,500 1965 KPL 62C A163070DN LC804618 3781cc 6
