Restored to a very good standard
Manual gearbox with overdrive
Originally registered on 9th February 1951 this beautiful Jaguar has been restored to a very good standard by the previous vendor. The current owner is a fastidious, knowledgeable classic car enthusiast and he has ensured this Mk. V Drophead Coupé presents in fabulous condition. We are advised the 3½ litre engine runs extremely well and the manual gearbox operates as it should. During the restoration an overdrive unit was fitted to enhance the smoothness of the car on the open road. The bodywork is finished in Old English White and has a very good depth to the paint and appears to be protected with an inch of polish! The red leather interior is unmarked, with seats akin to your favourite armchair. The deep rich burr walnut, of which there is plenty, is also in good order. Supplied with a V5C registration document, together with the original buff logbook confirming that NKM 645 has been on this Jaguar since new. This genuine right hand drive Drophead Coupé also has a complete toolkit and a workshop manual. This classic motorcar from Jaguar’s heyday is in good order throughout and represents the very spirit of motoring. Viewing in person is recommended to fully appreciate the quality of this very rare example.
