This car is featured on pages 34 to 39 of the July 1986 issue of Car Collector and Car Classics. The article states that it was imported by Hornburg of LA in late 1948 and sold for $4,745. It has had only 4 owners as at 1986 and was currently in a private Northern California collection.
Was restored by previous owners Jack and Shiela Rabell and won numerous awards.
