Hi, nice car, but I don't believe most of the things they say! Maybe the car was originally "Gunmetal" but that paint is far from original! Also I am pretty sure it did not come with CWW's and wide whitewalls from the factory. The Body tag should be pop-riveted to the body and it should have factory paint on it as that tag was used for being able to identify the body in the paint shop at the Foleshill plant. It was never ever attached to the body with pozi or phillips screws! (or left unpainted). Some tags and plates were screwed in the past, but then they would be with slotted round headed screws. Cheers!
PS. Oh, the interior is what the factory and brochures called "Red".

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
