* Year: 1948
* Price: £115,000
1948 Jaguar Mk IV 3 position drop head 3 1/2 Litre.
This is the first one ever produced, making it a highly collectable car.
The car has been restored at massive expense to concours standards over the last few years & is presented in impeccable condition.
When new the car was exported to the USA but is right hand drive & was built as such.
The paint is of extremely high quality & is flawless in deep gleaming black.
A brand new mohair hood is fitted & may be used in three different configurations: closed, the front part rolled back & furled under retaining straps, or fully open in the down position. The interior is lined with beige west of England cloth.
The interior is upholstered in flawless burgundy leather with matching burgundy carpets. The door cards are also burgundy leather. All the woodwork has been refinished to as new condition.
The car is also mechanically perfect, having been subjected to a complete mechanical overhaul. The car was supplied new with the more desirable 3 1/2 litre engine which it retains to this day.
All in all a rare, highly desirable & collectable car presented in impeccable order.
The car may be viewed by appointment in Lincolnshire.
