Car was on ebay 1/17
www.ebay.com/itm/322372256353
Car sold for: $48,000, seller tedasaurus, 9k miles.

Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar Mark II 3.8 4 spd. with factory overdrive

A low number one (or very high two depending on the judge) condition Jag Mk II that was COMPLETELY NUT AND BOLT restored by JK restorations in the 90's. Complete (only 3) ownership history since new with ALL RECORDS since new! I mean records from when the car was owner ordered from Southern California , to the pick up at the Jaguar factory in England, to shipping and preparation at the Los Angeles area Jag dealer! Please scroll down the page to look at the many pictures. This was no partial restoration, this was a complete rework of everything starting with a very well preserved and documented Mk II. All the wood refinished, chrome polished or replated, every piece of rubber is new, the entire driveline was rebuilt and or checked. Complete disassembly and repaint in the original colors.
Completely sorted and 100% ready to drive. Only 9,000 miles since complete restoration. Was driven from Chicago to Santa Fe in the summer when purchased. Cruises confidently down the interstate with accurate steering, excellent brakes, no weird mechanical noises, no bad wind noise, no rattles, no shimmy, no shake, no dog gone issues at all. Owned by a long time vintage Jaguar collector. Inspections encouraged and welcomed This Mark II is located in Santa Fe New Mexico, the capitol of NM.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
