This 1968 240 Jaguar was purchased by the present owner and vendor in 1991 but the car was originally supplied by Henly's of Manchester. During his ownership various items have been attended to including new carpets and all the door rubbers and seals have been replaced. But really very little has been needed to be done.
The car has a fully guaranteed mileage with 10 previous M.O.T.'s, the stamped service book and the original maintenance book all fully recording the use of the car over the years. It also comes with its original green log book and it is believed to be a three owner car from new.
We are informed that this manual gearbox car is in outstanding condition throughout and that it is an original U.K. car with a current M.O.T. certificate until July next year.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
