Ebay item 3/18/07 LAMINATE.GLASS IS ALL GOOD,WINDSHIELD IS NEW.
WE INCORPERATED THE XJ 6 FLOOR SHIFTER INTO THE INTERIOR INSTEAD OF THE COLUMN SHIFTER LOOKS CLEAN HOWEVER THE DOWN SIDE IS WE WERE UNABLE TO USE TRANS KICKDOWN LINKAGE SO AT TIMES IT MAY BE NESASARY TO DROP DOWN TO SECOND MANUALLY FOR PASSING IF YOU ARE AT A LOW SPEED AND AT A LOW RPM AND WANT TO MAKE A RAPID ACCERATION.REMEMBER THAT ALTHOUGH THIS IS A JAG IT IS A 2 1/2 TON LUXURY SALOON LIMO TYPE CAR THE LARGEST OF WHICH JAG EVER MADE IN A 4 DOOR [NON DAMILER] BODY,NOT A SPEED DEMON.
CAR HAD MINIMAL RUST PRIOR TO RESTORATION AND THOSE AREAS HAD NEW METAL WELDED IN.UNDER CARAGE HAS BEEN RUSTPROOFED. NEEDED SUSPENSION ITEMS WERE REPLACED. GAS TANKS WERE REMOVED BOILED AND RELINED, ALL BRAKES ARE NEW WITH REBUILT CALIPERS AND MASTER CYLINDER OF COURSE..
SOME THINGS ARE NOT NEW.THE BUMPERS WERE NOT RECHOMED [BUT POLISH UP NICELY] HOWEVER THERE IS WEAR [THINNING] ON THE CHROME AND THE SAME APPLIES TO THE WHEELS.THE POWER WINDOWS ARE SOMEWHAT SLOW COMPARED TO A MODERN CAR BUT ALL WORK, THE FRONT BLOWER MOTORS SQUEEK SOMETIMES WHEN FIRST TURNED ON,THE STARTER PUSH BUTTOM ALTHOUGH THERE IS FOR APPEARANCE SAKE ONLY, THE ENGINE CRANKS WITH THE IGNITION KEY. HAVE NO KEY FOR TRUNK OR GAS CAP LIDS ALTHOUGH THE TRUNK RELEASE WORKS WELL JUST CAN'T LOCK. THE SUN VISORS LOOK GREAT BUT DO NOT FOLD DOWN.THE CLOCK DOES NOT WORK.THE MILEAGE ON THE ODOMETER DOES NOT REPRESENT THE MILEAGE ON THIS CAR!! HAS SLIGHT TRANS SEEPAGE ALSO.

Car found at auction (The Market by Bonhams). No reserve. "restoration" appears to have deteriorated - significant bubbling on passenger side - doors wheel-wells, etc. interior remains good, but wood has suffered on the seatbacks, upholstery good but showing some use. Seems to have been equipped with a transmission cooler behind the grille - possible 700r4? Unclear from listing.

Ebay item 8/19/23
Current bid: $2,025 no reserve 7 bids, 7 days left in auction, seller hartfordland, car now in Santa Paula, California, previously St. Louis, Missouri, 48k miles.
Seller's description:
Selling this 1967 Jaguar Mark X Saloon. This is a rare later 4.2 liter inline six cylinder equipped car with automatic transmission. Properly presented in British Racing Green with Biscuit interior, it is a nice older restoration that has been off the road for several years.
It was sold in C. 2010 by a well respected dealership in Florida and the car went overseas. It was used and then placed on static display. It came back to the USA in 2022 in need of minor rehab and the car has received a new battery, carburetor service and detailing. While it will require some additional minor rehabilitation, it stands nearly ready to provide new ownership with hopefully years of enjoyment.
The car was restored approximately 25 years ago and has developed some minor bubbling along one door side due to paint preparation. It has not been in an accident and has no serious rust.
The exterior paint is very nice as is the chrome and trim. Some slight fading is noticeable on the grill treatment and can be seen in the pictures. The interior is beautiful with outstanding wood, leather and carpeting. It has dual zone factory air conditioning with rear mounted vents.
The engine is neat and tidy and has been carefully started and run. The undercarriage appears nearly new with no hint of rust or repair.
