Chequered Flag is pleased to offer this 1966 Jaguar MK X in Golden Sand with Black leather. Comprehensively restored by renowned Jaguar mechanic and restorer Jim Strohmeier of British Motor Cars Thousand Oaks California for himself. He subsequently showed it at several JCNA concours events winning multiple Best Jaguar in Class awards (see trophies below which accompany the car). The car was completely disassembled and every nut and bolt was refinished, or replaced with factory original parts. One of Jims specialities was to use the improved early XJ6 block, keeping the appearance and triple SUs of the original 4.2 motor. The wood trim restoration was in excess of $10k. Well optioned with power steering, power brakes, air-conditioning, full leather interior. One of the best repaints we've seen. 1,000 miles since completion. Around 5,100 MK X's were produced. This has to be one of, if not the nicest MK X in existence, I challenge anyone to find a good original one and do the work for less than $150k. Comes with original spare, original tool kit, and owners manual.
