This Jaguar MK II 2.4 Saloon has benefitted from a full nut and bolt restoration between 1994 and 1997, details of which can be verified by the large history file and a picture folder. The car has been used very lightly since and is stored in a bubble to keep it pristine. The green log book is with the history, along with all the tools etc. The first keeper owned the car for the first fifty years. This is a rare chance to acquire a low mileage, low owner Jaguar MKII.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
