Presented in the splendid colour combination of Westminster Blue with deep red trim, this lovely Mk.II has been owned by our vendor and Jaguar Enthusiast member for some 19 years having purchased the car in 1999 from a Mr Smith who had owned the car for the previous decade. After deciding to sympathetically restore the car, between 1999 and 2002 this Mk.II received a full retrim and interior restoration together with a complete brake overhaul before the mechanicals were overhauled a year later with the engine and gearbox removed by Motafix of Bushey, Herts. The exact date the body work was restored is unknown but it presents very well today with the chrome work and paint in keeping with an elegant but older restoration. Within the history file numerous receipts and MoT certificates can be found alongside a current MoT test certificate valid until January 2019.
Smartly presented and performing well, this very attractively priced Mk.II Saloon - with the crucial manual gearbox and optional overdrive is a must for the budding Jaguar enthusiast or those looking for a great looking and practical classic car.
*Please note the cherished registration number will be retained by the vendor and new age related number will be issued by the DVLA
