I've owned black beauty as she is affectionately referred to for some thirty years she is rhd early 2.4 and is the most reliable car I.ve ever owned. Being the 2.4 with the cost of fuel these days she is economical compared to even modern jags and is used regularly she still has the original engine and classic moss box. She still turns head there are photos of her all over the world.I'll post some photo's asap.

Black Beauty is still on the road, july 2019 just finished refurb of interior and complete repaint in the original black looking immaculate. Totally reliable car starts first time every time currently taxed and on the road haven't managed to use her much this year that will hopefully change now the weather has improved. It can be a bit embarrassing going out in her as there are cameras clicking everywhere she goes!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
