Ebay item 5/25/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-Other-/112007357065
Opening bid US $4,000, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction, seller cl7185, 70k miles.

Sellers description:
I purchased this vehicle at auction in 2003 from an owner that had undertaken a fairly thorough driver quality restoration. I believe it is all-original and I have a clear title for it. Please note that it is right hand drive, has the original British plates, and a manual transmission. Since my purchase it has been driven irregularly about town in warm weather months and garaged otherwise. The vehicle is very much a head turner and the manual is fun to drive. The paint looks good from about 10 feet, but close inspection will reveal some cracking and bubbling. Likewise the driver's seat in particular has some cracking to the upholstery. I know very little about these vehicles mechanically and while it runs, I am sure that it could use some work, particularly if it were to be driven longer distances or more regularly. The vehicle is located in Evanston, Ilinois and should probably be transported to the purchaser. I would not recommend highway driving without a more thorough evaluation. In sum, this car is in beautiful shape for its age and would be a good candidate for a nuts and bolts restoration or a more modest driver-quality refresh.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
