Sellers description:
I acquired this 1959 Mark 1 with plans of completing the restoration and I now know this is not going to happen. So I am offering it up for sale. What you see in the pictures is what comes with the car, although I do have the front seats and the top part of the rear. I also have all the wood trim with some extras. There is no side glass just the front and rear windshield, I only have some freshly chromed bright work for the hood and the front and rear bumpers. The car has 2 previous owners both from Austin, Tx. A gentleman in New Mexico bought the car as a complete running and driving car, drove it for a bit and then brought it to the body shop to start the restoration process. The car was stripped, the body work was done and the door jams were painted both on the body and doors as well as the trunk and under the hood. At this point the gentleman became ill and passed away and I got the car from his estate and I have a free and clear title. I have not attempted to start the car since I have had it. The body is very straight and dry, the only issue is the passenger side rear quarter where I smacked it into my house, still mad at myself, duh. This would be a great car for someone that has rusty mark and could transfer those parts to this nice bodied car.
