According to Thorley's Original Mark 1&2 Chassis number S991976BW would have been manufactured between April and May 1959.
Some Mark 2's were manufactured in 1959, but to my knowledge, Mark 1 production ceased in mid 1959.

1960 Mark 1 Jaguar 4 dr. Saloon type, has Chevy 235 in-line 6 cyl. and 3 spd. auto trans, 4 whl disc brakes, 6 stock wire spoke wheels, tool kit. Has new brake booster (value $450.00 not installed). Has not run for awhile. Black exterior paint needs buffing. All chrome intact except the "automatic" logo on rear deck. Has Red leather interior that is complete but not great. All glass in very good shape. Wood is serviceable, just needs cleanup.
