1956 Jaguar MK 1, This is fully restored car that had a great deal of money put into it by my late father. The car was my great uncles originally, which he purchased new back in 1956. The car was borrowed by a friend who drove it with not enough oil and damaged the engin. The car then sat in my grand uncle's garage for about 40 years, until he gave it to my father. My father had it restored by Briarcliff Classic and Imported in Briarcliff, New York. There, they restored the original engine and got everything working like new. Transmission is original as well. There was also no body damage from what I know. He had a mint paint job done on it, as well as, the interior restored to look new. The trunk has very little signs of rust. I have all records from the restoration and maintenance over the years my father owned it. He drove it every couple of weekends in upstate New York and entered it in car shows such as The British Invasion and the Rhinebeck, NY Car Show. The car won many awards through the years that he owned it (trophies included with purchase). It was also featured in Martha Stewart's wedding magazine. The car has been sitting in a dry garage for a little over a year. The Car runs good still and only needed a new car battery that I installed. All photos were taken this past September. This was my father's baby and he took really great care of it. I wish I could keep it, but I do not have the space. I want to get as much as I can for it, but need to sell it soon, so I am willing to except less. I have the transferable registration as well as a letter of executor of my father's estate.
Price: $23,000 obo
