This is a stunning example of the 1959 Jaguar MK I Saloon car that has been carefully stored and maintained by its owner of sixteen years. The car is finished in a factory correct Golden Sand with a complementary elegant and beautiful replaced Connolly and Wilton Tan interior; Connolly even on the door panels . Overall, this is an exceptional car, possibly one of the best remaining MKI's anywhere.
This 1959 Jaguar MK I Saloon has the original drive train (numbers matching) 2.4 liter six cylinder engine coupled to the original 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive. As a result, the car is nimble around town and keeps up with highway traffic with ease. As stated, this may be the best MKI available due to its combination of overall condition and array of components:
- Full Webasto sunroof
- Wire wheels and partial spats
