Opening bid $4,000, no bids yet, 4 days left in auction. Buy it now price $5,500.

    Sellers description:
BARN FRESH 1959 Jaguar Mark IX Saloon with 37,519 Original Miles for Sale. No Corossion and little rust on this car. Start and runs like a dream but does need new front brakes (I have the pads but it does need new discs since the old brakes are seized). Leather is in good shape with the exception of a "oil" stain that needs to be cleaned off in the back seat. Carpets are in decent shape. Wood needs to be refinished. Chrome is in good condition. Sunroof is in good condition. New white wall tires with 95% tread life left. Original Jag wheels with chrome covers. Flat six engine with all parts intact (Air filter is in trunk and not installed right now). All numbers match (No Chevy conversion here)! The only non-oem part on the car is the gas tank and trunk deck. I had a rough time finding the original gas tanks and decided to install a brand new poly- propeleyne gas tank on a new trunk deck that serves it's purpose. It is hidden in the trunk and non invasive. This car has not been driven in over 2 years and will still start right up.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
