1958 Jaguar Mark IX Saloon 4-door sedan. This vintage car was originally owned by British actress Beatrice Lilly Peel as demonstrated by the original title. This rare find is a rebuilt, 6-cylinder, 3.8 engine, with 220 hp. engine. It is a left side driver. It has a sun roof, and automatic transmission. It has 6,500 original miles. Needs little restoration and is in drivable condition. Elegant piece of history. Full documents from Coventry Jaguar, England. Connecticut registration. Original engine.

Hi, looking at the front seats and door panels, it could also be Light Blue, but the rear seats look more like Grey, very hard to say from those photos. Cheers!

Sellers description:
1958 Jaguar Mark IX, that was previously owned by actress Beatrice Lillie. I bought it from a person that bought it from her estate, i'm the 3rd owner. Body is in great shape except for some surface rust that i've included in the photos.I've done a lot of work to it already including, new braking system which included new rotors front and rear, new pads front and rear, new brake lines, rebuilt brake calipers front and rear. Also rebuilt water pump, replaced upper and lower water hoses, installed new thermostat and flushed radiator clean. Dropped the oil pan, installed new oil pump and replaced the gaskets. I also dropped the transmission oil pan, changed the oil filter and replaced the gaskets.The rear diff also has new oil and gaskets. The car runs and drives well - just did a complete tune up. Interior is in good shape,front seats are in great shape, no cracks, back seat back rest needs work.The back also has fold down picnic tables. Sun roof works without any leaks, wood dash is in great shape, floor carpet is also in good shape as is the floor underneath. I have all paper work on the maintenance history as well as the original manuals. The car does need work but it's mainly cosmetic.
