Ebay item 4/18/08 there. No rust is evident except a small hole on the bottom of the left rear door, probably owing to drain hole blockage. Chrome is very good throughout. There is a small dent in the left-rear over-rider. I have much of the car's service history from new and complete details of work that I have had done, including: stainless steel exhaust system and heater feed pipes, 185 x 15 Vredestein radial tires, Moto-Lita wood-rimmed steering wheel (original available), Lucas Fog Rangers, all freeze plugs replaced, new ball joints, U-joints, poly suspension bushings, refinished air cleaner & front license plate bracket, new battery, and more. The windshield wiper motor was replaced days before I got the car, and the water pump and radiator not long before that. The cars runs very well and is a pleasure to drive at highway speeds. The original black interior is in very good condition and the leather has been treated with "Leatherique" products. 3-point safety belts are installed; the fornt ones are inertia-reel type. The wood trim is in excellent condition. All instruments and switches work properly except the clock, which I am told fell victim to a jump start that ignored the car's positive ground. The original headlining has no tears or stains and the sun visors are new. The dealer-fitted mono AM-FM radio works fine. The car comes with original owner's handbook and tool kit (95% complete), some spare hoses, a kit of new door rubber and Furflex, rear carpet kit, CD & print workshop manuals, and a car cover. This is a good opportunity to own a classic Jaguar that is a fine, reliable, well-sorted machine with low mileage and many refinements, yet largely original and unspoiled. The car is garaged within a 50-minute drive friom San Jose Airport or 35 minutes from Monterey.
