This 1964 Jaguar Mk II is finished in two-tone gray over a red leather interior and is powered by a 3.8-liter straight-six paired with a four-speed manual gearbox with electric overdrive. The car has reportedly resided in the current owner’s collection for the past 18 years, and approximately 10k miles have been added during that time. Equipment includes wire wheels, rear fender spats, a burl wood dashboard, and a push-button radio. An inspection and oil change were recently performed by the selling dealer, who is now offering this Mark II on consignment with a clean Oregon title.
The body wears a two-tone silver over gray finish, and photos showing the condition of the brightwork, lenses, and trim are provided in the gallery below. Rust bubbles are noted at various locations around the lower fenders, doors, and wheel spats.
Chrome 15″ wire wheels feature two-eared knock-off spinners and Riken Radial tires that display date codes from 2009. Chrome bumpers with overriders and a driver-side mirror are equipped.
The cabin is trimmed in red leather with a burl wood dashboard and upper door panels. The seats show creasing and tears.
A two-spoke steering wheel and a push-button BMC radio remain in place. Smiths instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline. Less than 86k miles are indicated on the five-digit odometer, although true mileage is unknown. The seller states that the temperature gauge reads high, although other instruments are reported to function properly.
The 3.8-liter inline-six features twin SU carburetors and is linked with a four-speed manual transmission. An oil change and inspection were performed by the selling dealer, who reports that the carburetors, brake system, and ignition components were overhauled during the past five years.
Rust is noted on the underside.
