Lot #91556
This 1963 Jaguar Mk II is finished in blue over color-coordinated leather upholstery and is powered by a 3.8-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ wire wheels, red-stripe tires, four-wheel disc brakes, chrome bumpers, fender-mounted side mirrors, wood trim, rear picnic tables, and a push-button AM radio. The car spent time in Virginia before the current owner’s acquisition in 2020. This Mk II is now offered on dealer consignment with service manuals, spare parts, and a clean Wisconsin title in the owner’s name listing the car as a 1964 model.
The car was repainted in the current shade of blue under prior ownership. Equipment includes fender-mounted side mirrors and chrome wrap-around bumpers with overriders as well as a Leaper hood ornament and quarter vent windows. Corrosion is noted in the right-front fender, and photos of exterior blemishes are provided in the gallery.
Chrome 15″ wire wheels feature two-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with 185-series Michelin red-stripe tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in blue leather and are joined by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Equipment includes a push-button AM radio, wood trim, toggle switches for vehicle functions, and fold-out picnic tables for the rear occupants mounted on the back of the front seats. Wear is visible on the seats.
A wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer. Auxiliary gauges in the center stack include displays for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 95k miles, approximately 500 of which were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.8-liter inline-six sends power to the rear wheels via a Borg Warner three-speed automatic transmission. Service in preparation for the sale is said to have included adjusting the carburetors and performing an oil change.
Cracks are visible on exhaust components.
Service manuals and spare parts are included in the sale.
The chassis number P223243BW and the car is titled in Wisconsin as a 1964 model with the VIN J64P223243BW.
