Seller's description:

1962 Jaguar MKII 3.8 Saloon in an attractive color combination of White over a Burgandy interior, providing a distinctly sporting look to an already elegant style. This splendid Saloon is powered by a 3.8L inline 6-cylinder engine, backed by a 3-Speed Automatic Trans. Dual SU Carburettors. Power Steering and Brakes. Speed is reigned in by disc brakes at all four corners, very advanced for the time. Bumper Over-Riders, Dual Rear-View Mirrors, Reclining Front Seats, Rear Picnic Trays. Recent service including brakes, calipers, new stainless exhaust. Only the third owner and it has graced our family for 40+ years. All original matching numbers VIn, Chassis, block, head, transmission all match as it rolled off the assembly line in 1962. Jaguar Heritage Certificate certifies the data from assembly archives. Very clean California Car no rust and always garaged.

Jaguar's maxim of "Grace, Space, and Pace" are on full display with this MK II. It is the perfect classic for making a weekend getaway, and earning awards at a show. These cars were to rank among the best-loved Jaguars ever made and are today highly sought-after. If you're in the market for a rare classic that is ready to drive, show, and enjoy for years to come, this Jaguar Mk II is a worthy candidate.

Very solid with floor pans, rockers, wheel arches, etc. all in great condition. Chrome and glass are excellent. Nothing missing from this Jaguar. The interior is excellent, as well. Seats are nearly perfect and door panels, carpet, headliner, and dash are good. Mechanically this example is well-sorted. The 3.8-Litre 6-cylinder engine privides plenty of power, the transmission shifts as it should, and the car drives like a dream.
