This 1962 Jaguar MkII Saloon is powered by a 302ci Ford V8 paired with a C4 3-Speed automatic transmission. The car has been in the seller's family for 19 years, and received the drivetrain swap and a repaint in Pearl White during their ownership. It has been driven around 9000 miles and the car has been maintained personally by the seller, with recent work including new wheels and tires, a new battery, an oil service, and a new pitman arm. This V8-powered Jaguar is now offered with a clean Texas title in the seller's name.

The Pearl White finish is an older repaint performed during while with the seller's family. The seller describes the work as well-executed, showing minor blemishes including bubbling paint on the right fender corner light and a chip on the edge of the hood.

Trim and other brightwork remain intact, and a power antenna was installed. Wire knock-off wheels were recently installed with new Michelin Radial X redline tires.

The cabin is finished in red leather with a burl wood dash and an array of Smiths gauges and stock switches. An aftermarket 4-spoke wheel and a Sony CD-radio head unit were installed by the seller.

The rear bench and seatback picnic trays are pictured in the gallery. Around 9k miles were added between the seller and his mother, and 72k miles are now indicated on the odometer.

The trunk is lined with red wool carpeting and includes tool pockets, a spare, and a jack. Note aftermarket speakers mounted into the underside of the rear parcel shelf.

A 302ci Ford V8 and C4 3-Speed automatic transmission replace the original Jaguar 3.8L six. An oil change was recently performed, as well as the replacement of one pitman arm and installation of a new battery.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
