Private Party Or Dealer: Dealer
This 1963 Jaguar Mk II is finished in white over red leather and is powered by a 3.8-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ wire wheels, whitewall tires, wood trim, a heater, and an AM radio. The current owner acquired the car in 2012, and service in 2014 included installing a rebuilt cylinder head, re-ringing the #3 piston, rebuilding the differential, and replacing the spark plugs, plug wires, and rear axles. This Mk II is now offered on dealer consignment in Georgia with a clean California title.
The car is finished in white and features chrome bumpers, polished trim, and fender-mounted side mirrors. Close-up photos of the body panels and brightwork are available in the gallery.
Chrome 15″ wire wheels are mounted with winged knockoffs and wear 185/75 American Classic whitewall tires. The rear brake lines and left-rear brake rotor were replaced in 2014.
The cabin is equipped with red leather seats along with matching door panels and carpeting. Amenities include wood trim, a heater, and an AM radio. Noted flaws include worn leather, tears in the rear bench, and a torn driver’s door panel.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock. Gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are mounted in the center stack. The selling dealer notes that the gauges function intermittently. The five-digit odometer shows 3,300 miles, approximately 2,500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
Service to the 3.8-liter inline-six in February 2014 included installing a rebuilt cylinder head, replacing the piston rings in cylinder #3, and changing the spark plugs and plug wires. The selling dealer notes that a fluid change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed GM-sourced automatic transmission. The 2014 service also included replacing the rear axles and rebuilding the rear differential. Additional images of the underside are available in the gallery below.
The chassis number P220070BW is depicted above, and the car is titled in California under J63P220070BW.
