Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar 3.8 Mk2 Saloon - Fully Restored - Gorgeous!
The Mk2 is the perfect blend of "sports car" and "family sedan", in this case with the 3.8 litre straight 6 with 4-speed manual transmission and electric overdrive. Rated at 220 HP, with 0-60 mph acceleration in just 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 125 mph, this car is truly the best of both worlds.
This particular car receievd a full restoration several years ago and has seen limited use since. The body is straight and RUST FREE, with excellent panel fit and was painted in Jaguar Opalescent Silver Blue color. The interior was reupholstered in red leather and is beautiful with no signs of wear. The wood is exceptional: smooth, glossy, with an excellent finish throughout.
Mechanically, this car runs beautifully. Plenty of power, great handling and the factory disc brakes bring it to a positive stop. It is hard to believe this car is nearly 50 years old. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at the time of restoration. It has recently been serviced by a Jaguar factory service center and is ready for the road. Fly in and drive it home.
