Opening bid $7,500 reserve not met, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This Iconic Classic 1962 Jaguar Mark 2 (also known as MK 2 or MkII) is the largest motor available in this class. It was a medium sized saloon car built by the Jaguar company in Coventry, England. In the early 60's was considered the fastest production sedan.

I have been a vintage car collector since 1983, have had owned over 100 European cars, 9 cars at this time. I owned my first Jag Mkll in 1985 and have loved them since.

This cunning cat was garaged all it's life in Philidelphia/New Hope Penn, now Palm Beach Florida owned (2nd owner) as part of a car collection being liquidated. Recently tuned, and redone rear breaks. The undercarriage frame is in excellent condition. The car needs some mechanical work.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
