Opening bid $12,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $23,000.

Sellers description:
This 1963 Jaguar was restored in 1979 with original parts, with complete body, interior, engine and transmission rebuild by a Jaguar specialist. The engine and under carriage were given a $12,000 restoration in 2009 by an experienced Jaguar Specialist. Restoration is at 95%. I have owned it since 1979, and it appears it had one owner before me.The car runs great, is all MK2. Body and paint work is 30 years old, with very minimal rust. Car has been started daily and kept in climate controlled storage. Restoration would be complete with new paint.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
